Innovate For Future (IFF) innovate & technology competition is featured in SmartVision Magazine of Smart City Consortium (SCC). The details can be found in Smart Vision, Issue 14, P.7, published in Nov 2020.
We believe our competition can inspire more school students to innovate for our smart future.
Congratulations to one of our IFF2019 winners, ADHDreamer by St. Paul’s Convent School , who received the Most Innovative Idea Award in IFF2019. The team is invited to be the finalist of the Silicon Valley Innovation Challenge (SVIC) Finalist Showcase 2020. They will pitch their idea and present the innovation at the SVIC Finalist Showcase on Dec 1.
The project case of ADHDreamer is targeted to help ADHD children to improve mental conditions and raise public awareness of ADHD kids.

Hackathon and Training Workshops was held on 05 Sept, 2020. I am glad to have Mr. Calvin Lau from Lingnan University to deploy an interesting workshop on design thinking. We received a lot of feedbacks and interactions with our participants.
Mr. Calvin Kam, HKETA Youth Member, also shared the latest AI tools, and cybersecurity knowledges.
Around 45 participants joined this workshop.
Our information session was held online on 01 Aug 2020. This briefing session aims to provide information about the competition details, theme and schedule.
HKETA Youth Team is glad to announce that Innovate For Future will be held again in 2020.
There will be 2 streams: Secondary school stream and Tertiary stream. The competition theme is Technology Shaping a Better Life: Health, Intelligence, Communication. This competition is supported by our international partner, San Jose State University (SJSU).
